Best CS2 Workshop & Training Maps (2026)
Five CS2 workshop maps that fix aim, reaction time, spray control, angles and prefire — with direct Steam links and how long to spend on each.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

There are hundreds of training maps in the CS2 Workshop. You need five.
One thing before you install anything: mechanics are only half the problem. Plenty of lost rounds come from habits that never show up on the scoreboard, and no aim map fixes those.
Each one on this list fixes a different weakness, and together they cover everything mechanical that decides rounds: first-bullet accuracy, reaction speed, spray control, holding angles and map knowledge. Install all five, use the one that matches what you are bad at.
To install any of them, open the link, press Subscribe, then launch CS2, go to Play, switch the game mode dropdown to Workshop Maps, and pick it from the list.
1. Aim Botz — Aim Training
The most subscribed training map in Counter-Strike, made by uLLeticaL. Bots line up, you kill them, the counter goes up. Everything is adjustable: moving or static bots, armour, weapon, distance, unlimited ammo.
What it fixes: crosshair placement and first-bullet accuracy. Set the bots to move, pick one rifle, and focus on keeping your crosshair at head level while you strafe between targets rather than on the kill count.
Who it is for: everyone, as a daily warm-up. Ten minutes before you queue, not forty.

2. Fast Aim / Reflex Training
The CS2 remake by yolokas, with close to a million subscribers. Bots rush you from unpredictable directions in a tight Dust 2-style space. You have no time to line anything up, which is the entire point.
What it fixes: reaction time and the first shot under pressure. This is the map that translates most directly into entry duels, where the fight is decided in the first third of a second.
Who it is for: players who lose fights they felt they should have won, and anyone who feels slow when someone appears unexpectedly.

3. Recoil Master — Spray Training
Also by uLLeticaL. The spray pattern appears on the wall as a ghost line and you trace it. Automatic resets between sprays, adjustable weapons, and a bullet time mode that slows everything down so you can see exactly where your compensation breaks.
What it fixes: spray control past the first three bullets. Most players below FACEIT level 7 can tap or burst, then lose the rest of the magazine into the ceiling — which costs them every fight that is not a clean one-tap.
Who it is for: anyone who wins the opening exchange and then loses the trade.

4. Angle Hold Trainer
Made by JonRed07. You hold an angle, a bot peeks it, you react. Press Use or shoot the green button and it switches which side the bot comes from.
What it fixes: the CT-side duel. Reacting to a peek is a completely different skill from taking one, and almost nobody trains it — which is why so many players are far weaker on CT than on T.
Who it is for: players who die first on CT rounds without trading or getting information back.

5. Mirage Prefire
Built by leander and lmtlss. Bots spawn in the common Mirage positions — up to 240 of them across the map — and you clear routes against them, with adjustable difficulty.
What it fixes: map knowledge and prefire timing. It is the closest map on this list to real gameplay, because it trains where people actually stand instead of where a target happens to be placed.
Who it is for: anyone who plays Mirage and still gets surprised by the same angles. If you main a different map, look for an equivalent prefire map for it — the concept matters more than the map.

If prefire is the weakness you want to fix, here are all the prefire maps and how to train with them.

Which one to start with
If you only install one, make it Fast Aim / Reflex. It is the map whose skill transfers fastest into real rounds.
If you install all five, rotate them rather than stacking them: warm up on Aim Botz before you queue, and give one focused session per week to whichever of the other four matches your current weakness.
Not sure which weakness is actually yours? Review your own demo first — twenty minutes of your own footage will tell you more than guessing from this list.
