Every other pro checker matches on nickname, which is why they are useless. Half the FACEIT ladder is running around called donk, ZywOo or m0NESY. Match on the name and a random Level 4 player shows up in your results as a tier one professional, and you have no way of knowing which hits are real.
This one matches on the account. A player is only counted as a professional if their Liquipedia page explicitly records their FACEIT account ID in the faceitdb field, and the comparison then runs on that ID rather than on whatever name was displayed at the time. That removes name collisions completely, and it also means a pro who has changed nickname five times since 2019 still gets caught. Roughly 3,900 accounts are verified this way, and the database rebuilds itself from Liquipedia once a month so roster changes and new names get picked up without anything being done by hand.
The result is not a yes or no. For each professional you crossed paths with, the scanner gives you the full picture of who they are, what they were playing on, and how that match actually went for you.
01
Pro name, real name, current team, country, role and whether they are still active, plus a proof link to their Liquipedia page, their HLTV profile and their FACEIT account.
02
Their sensitivity, DPI, eDPI, resolution and mouse at the time, so you can see exactly how far your own setup sits from a professional baseline.
03
The map, the final score and the date, with your K/D, ADR and headshot percentage sitting next to theirs from that same match, plus a direct link to the match room.
01
Is this tool free?
Yes, completely free. There is no account to create, nothing to install and no paid tier.
02
Does it cover CS:GO matches or only CS2?
Both. Your CS2 history and the full CS:GO archive are read in the same pass, so matches from years ago are included.
03
How do you decide who counts as a professional player?
A player is only counted if their Liquipedia page lists their exact FACEIT account ID in the faceitdb field, and the comparison runs on that account ID rather than on the nickname. That is why there are no name collisions and no false positives.
04
How many pro accounts are in the database?
Around 3,900 verified accounts. The database rebuilds itself automatically once a month, so new professionals and roster changes get picked up without anything being done by hand.
05
Do I need to log in or connect my Steam account?
No. The only thing the scanner needs is your FACEIT nickname.
06
I know I played against a pro but they did not show up. Why?
Almost always because their Liquipedia page does not record a FACEIT account ID, or because that match was played on an account that is not the one listed. The scanner only reports what it can prove, which is the entire point of it.
Find out who you have met
It takes one nickname and about a minute. Run it, see who is in there, and then go and look at how the gap in that scoreboard was actually built.
